Blue Advantage Families and ChildrenSM from Blue Plus is a Minnesota Medical Assistance program (Minnesota’s state Medicaid program). This Minnesota Medical Assistance healthcare program is for families, children under age 21, pregnant people and adults under age 65 who receive Medical Assistance.

There is no monthly premium for this plan.

A Member Experience Advocate can answer your health plan questions relating to plan benefits, coverage, claims, and finding an in-network provider (doctor).

County car seat and booster program

Infants and children under age 9 can receive a car seat and booster at no cost to you.** Children aged 9 or older who are unable to pass Minnesota’s Child Passenger Safety Law (5-point test) due to their size remain eligible for the car seat program.

Renew your coverage

If you have Medical Assistance (Medicaid) or MinnesotaCare, your health insurance needs to be renewed annually. Avoid losing your health insurance by being prepared for your renewal and ensuring your address, phone number and email address are always current.

*Delta Dental of Minnesota is independent from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Plus. Delta Dental provides services for dental benefits, including access to the Minnesota Select℠ Dental Network.

**Restrictions apply. Pregnant Blue Plus members are eligible at 7 months gestation. Members are eligible for one car seat and one booster seat through this Blue Plus program.
