You can choose a plan with or without eye exam coverage. If your medical plan covers preventive eye exams, you might opt for a vision plan without it. If not, choose one with exam coverage.
Some prefer using the Davis Vision network for their eye exams, even if their medical plan already covers it. The choice is yours.

You can enroll in a vision plan any time. It's quick and easy. Coverage generally starts the first of the month after we receive your application and payment.
You do not have to have Blue Cross health insurance to enroll into one of the Blue Cross Vision plans. Vision plans can be purchased by any individual age 18 or over.
