Life events for special enrollment
Common life events that may qualify for special enrollment include:
- Job loss
- Early retirement
- Loss of dependent status
- Marriage
- Divorce
- Birth or adoption of a child
- A move
You must enroll within the required time frame — usually within 60 days of the life event.
