This benefit provides you with an allowance to order eligible over-the-counter medications and health-related products. OTC medications are trusted as a first line of defense in treating minor ailments, help reduce doctor visits and save you money.
Medicare plans that have a quarterly allowance (every 3 months):
There is no additional premium for those who have the OTC benefit included in their health plan. These added OTC benefits will vary by plan, so be sure to review your Evidence of Coverage (EOC) for benefit coverage and important details. You can find your EOC on the Coverage page after you log in to your member account.
Eligible items are available to view and select within your account. You can also view offered items in the over-the-counter item catalog.
