With a variety of Group Medicare Advantage plans, you can select the right balance of coverage and costs for your organization's retirees.
When you choose a Group Medicare Advantage plan from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, you don’t just give your retirees great coverage, you give them support to improve their health. Our three plan designs offer you the opportunity to balance your expenses in a way that meets your budget and takes good care of your employees in their retirement.
Group Medicare Advantage plan coverage
All plan options include the following features:
Medical coverage worldwide: Travel up to nine months outside Minnesota* (in the U.S.) and get in-network benefits when using select providers. No referrals needed. Members will pay the same cost sharing for medical services that they would normally pay at network providers** in Minnesota. Members are also covered for emergency care worldwide.
Preventive care: All plan options include coverage for various routine services and screenings.
Annual limits: All plan options provide the protection of an annual out-of-pocket maximum on how much members pay. Expenses incurred under the travel benefit are also applied to this maximum.
