Blue Plus® is proud to serve Minnesota. Founded in 1974, we offer a range of fully insured commercial health plans for individuals, families and employers. Blue Plus also contracts with the Minnesota Department of Human Services to provide public health plans including Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare.
Individual and family plans
Blue Plus serves Minnesotans shopping for individual and family plans through coordinated health plans. Blue Plus plans are available in all Minnesota counties. You can learn more about each of these plans here:
- Blue Plus Metro MN is available in the Twin Cities metro area
- Blue Plus Southeast MN is available in southeastern Minnesota
- Blue Plus Minnesota Value is available in most of Minnesota
Small employer plans
Two small group plans are available through Blue Cross. One small group plan is available through Blue Plus:
- High Value Network plan is available across the state
Minnesota Health Care Programs
At Blue Plus, we have health care plans that work with Minnesota’s Medical Assistance, called Minnesota Health Care Programs.
