Short-term coverage like InstaCare does not meet the health care reform requirements to have health coverage. InstaCare does not cover childbirth care or any treatment for medical conditions or symptoms you or a family member may have or had in the past.
For additional InstaCare coverage, beyond your initial coverage period, you will need to apply for a new contract. (State law lets you have 365 days of short-term coverage in any 555-day period.) Or, see other Blue Cross plans that offer ongoing, more extensive coverage.
We offer a large network of doctors and hospitals. Each one is an independent contractor and not our agent.
