Coral Ventures is a private capital firm with more than $300 million in capital under management for start-up and emerging companies. McNerney recently co-founded Thomas, McNerney & Partners, a private-equity fund targeting the life-sciences sector. McNerney was also the co-founder of The Kensington Group, was founder and CEO of Memtec North America, and has held various management positions at Baxter Healthcare International in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. McNerney is a certified public accountant and received his bachelor's degree from Yale University and his master's degree from Stanford University. McNerney serves as vice chair of the board of trustees.
