Be part of a positive legacy
“My passion is health care issues. I really enjoy the opportunity to make a difference in the health of Minnesotans. Blue Cross provides the resources and the corporate leadership so that my team and I can try things that have only been talked about in other parts of the country. I feel I’m a part of something that will leave a positive legacy in Minnesota.
Launching the “do” campaign was one of the most rewarding opportunities I’ve had. It’s an edgy, creative campaign. It shows that Blue Cross is willing to take risks and to use its resources for the right outcome. I’m psyched that Blue Cross is using its tobacco settlement funds to improve the health of all Minnesotans.
I like the team mentality
I lead planning work, but there’s definitely a team mentality when it comes working here. I spend a lot of my time talking with team members, researching what others have tried and proposing options for us. I also devote considerable time to building and maintaining relationships. I work within Blue Cross and externally to develop partnerships for accomplishing the Center’s goals.
A healthy company culture
One of the things that makes me most proud to work at Blue Cross is that living healthy is ingrained in Blue Cross’ culture – from the walking paths and the fitness centers to the classes about financial planning and the focus on work-life balance. It feels good to work for a company that lives its mission.”
