Becoming a Blue Partner agent or agency

Blue Cross sales management recognizes the top 10 percent of all Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota agencies and agents with the Blue Partner designation based on their sales production, retention and size of business.

Benefits

Blue Partners receive enhanced service and sales interactions and special recognition. They benefit in several major ways:

  • They get improved data support and tools to drive greater insight for managing business and our relationship.
  • They enjoy enhanced sales and service interactions and dedicated resources at Blue Cross, including access to a separate Blue Partner service telephone number staffed by an experienced team of service representatives.
  • Blue Partners receive help in growing their business. This is accomplished through strategic joint account planning, book of business consulting, targeted group joint sales calls, and marketing, training, recruiting and succession plan development assistance.
  • Publicity and recognition events are planned regularly for Blue Partners.

Agencies and agents meeting Blue Partner criteria can move into the program semi-annually and those no longer meeting criteria will move out of the program annually.
