Featured network: Blue Performance
One strategy to contain rising health care costs is to offer employees a choice of lower cost providers. The Blue Performance network emphasizes cost and quality transparency to help employees make informed choices. Effective January 1, 2012, Blue Performance is a lower price alternative for fully insured or self-insured groups with two or more employees.

These payment models build on a foundation of quality to reward providers – giving them an incentive to provide the best, most cost-effective care possible. We also pass on negotiated discounts for health care services to you and your employees if you use providers in our networks.
