Blue Partner program
The Blue Partner program recognizes top agent and agency performance with a unique selection of service and support to help grow and retain business.
The Blue Partner designation is based on business size, growth and retention qualifications and represents the top 10 percent of agents and agencies that do business with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. The program runs from April 1 to April 1 of each year.
Who qualifies?
The Blue Partner program offers two program levels: Blue Partner and Blue Partner Elite. Independent agents and agencies and their employees can qualify for the Blue Partner designation. The Blue Partner Elite level is only awarded to independent agents and agency employees. Qualification for both levels is based on business size, positive contract growth and retention during the annual measurement period of February 1 to January 31 of each year. The Blue Partner designation must be earned each year.

- Dedicated service – work with the most experienced service staff to help you serve your clients
- Learning and development opportunities – access to First to Know Webinars and continuing education credits, either reimbursed or at discounted rates
- Business support – additional support including discounts on hundreds of products and services
- Recognition – promote your Blue Partner designation through advertising, window clings, prospecting brochures and more
