Overview

Blue Edge is a secured, password-protected Web-based sales tool that allows appointed agents of Blue Cross to compare Blue Cross health plans to find the best fit for their customers. It’s an agent’s key to helping customers make complex employee benefit decisions quickly and easily.

• With Blue Edge, agents can:
• Generate preliminary quotes
  
• Create side-by-side health plan comparisons
  
• Generate proposals customized with your agency name
  
• Access electronic applications to send to your customers
  
• Print blank applications
  
• Access a live demo of the online member service center, myBlueCross
  
• View provider directories
  
• Check the status of small-group business submitted to Blue Cross
  
• Review business rules
  
• View sales brochures
  
• Obtain information about Blue Cross products, including small-group health, dental, life, short-term disability and individual products (including Medicare plans)
